Clean all stainless steel areas with a suitable cleaner and polish before initial operation.
Control panel features ON/OFF, speed selection, and light controls. Ensure proper installation before operating.
Use mild liquid detergent and a damp cloth for external parts and control panel. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Filters absorb grease and can become flammable. Clean regularly with hot water and detergent. Do not wash in a dishwasher.
Detach filters by handle, soak in hot water and detergent, rinse, and air dry completely before refitting.
Disconnect power, allow bulb to cool, remove grease filter, disconnect wiring, and replace the entire bulb/holder/wiring unit.
For recirculation mode, fit carbon filters to the motor. Replace every 3-6 months or if damaged.
Verify voltage/frequency match. Ensure appliance is earthed. Use qualified electrician. Socket must remain accessible.
Check dimensions, socket access, ducting space. Perform masonry work. Remove transit packaging. Protect cookers. Ensure wall strength.
Decide mode, use two people, remove filters, position hood, mark drill holes for support screws.
Drill holes, insert rawl plugs, and fasten support screws, leaving them protruding from the wall.
Attach 150mm ducting hose to the hood outlet. Ensure suitable discharge outlet and adhere to distance/bend limitations.
Position chimney sections, mark wall for fixing bracket, drill holes, and secure bracket to the wall.
Slide and secure chimney sections, fit carbon filters if needed, connect power, clean surfaces, and test operation.
Extraction expels air externally; recirculation filters and reintroduces air into the kitchen.
Charcoal filters are essential for recirculation to absorb cooking odours. Ensure upper chimney vent is exposed.
Verify power connection and fan speed control settings.
Check fan speed, filter cleanliness, ventilation, carbon filters (recirculation), or ducting (extraction).
The safety cut-out device may have tripped. Turn off the hob and allow it to reset.
Disconnect appliance and contact Customer Care if operating incorrectly. Do not attempt self-repair.
