Protect the room from direct sunlight with curtains, blinds or
shutters. This will save you energy.
Method of water removal:
If too much condensed water accumulates inside the device and the device stops operating,
the message "FULL TANK" (as described in the self-diagnosis) is displayed. In this case, the
condensed water must be drained using the following procedures:
Manual draining (Figure 24):
In regions with high humidity, it may be necessary to drain the water manually.
• Disconnect the device from the power source.
• Place a drip pan under the lower drain plug as shown in the figure.
• Remove the lower drain plug.
• The water will drain into the drip pan (the drip pan may not be included).
• After the water has been drained, re-tighten the lower drain plug.
• Switch the device on again.
Continuous drainage (Figure 25):
• Disconnect the device from the power source.
• Remove the drain plug. During this process, some residual water may escape, so you
should have a drip tray (not included) ready.
• Connect a 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) diameter drain hose (the hose may not be included) as
shown in the illustration.
