CLEANING THE HOUSING
Switch the device off prior to cleaning, wait a few minutes and then always the plug to
disconnect the device from mains.
Clean the device using a slightly damp cloth, follow up with a dry cloth.
 For safety reasons never use water to clean the device. This could be dangerous.
 Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the device.
 Don’t spray insecticides or similar agents onto the air conditioning unit.

 Carefully empty the condensed water tank into a suitable container as described in
the section on “emptying the water tank”.
 Let the air conditioning unit run for 2 hours in the blower/fan mode until the device is
completely dry inside.
 Switch the device off and pull the power plug.
 Clean the filter and re-insert it after drying it (see section on “cleaning the air filter”).
 Remove the air hose and the accessories and store them carefully.
 Remove the batteries from the remote control.
 Pack the device and store it at a cool and dry place.
CHECKS AT BEGINNING OF SEASON
 Make sure the power supply cable and the outlet are fault free and that it is properly
grounded.
 Make sure the plug is properly fitted to the condensation outlet and that the filters
have been inserted.
 Observe the installation and safety instructions precisely.
