Operational Check:
The
Model
20138 voltage
regulator
is
preset
at the factory to regulate a
28.5
±0.25
volts.
Measure the
aircraft
buss
voltage with the
alternators
running and
switched
in.
The measured voltage
should
be
within
the
tolerances stated above. If
some
other
regulated
voltage point was
chosen,
(within
the
adjustment
range
of
the
regulator)
then this
voltage
should be
present
at the buss.
In
all
cases,
the overvoltage warning light
should remain
extinguished. For
operational
checks on the overvoltage protection
circuit,
refer
to
Section
4
--
Adjustment and
Maintenance.
