f)
gigw_1yincrease the
external power
supply voltage
to
about
32.0
volts,
if
the overvoltage relay trips
within
±1.0 volt
of
32
volts the circuit
is correctly
adjusted. Relay
tripout will
be
indicated
by a
slight
drop
in buss voltage
and by
the
illum-
ination of
the overvoltage warning light
if
connected,
g)
If
the relay
does
not
trip
at
32
volts,
or trips
prematurely,
proceed as
follows.
h)
Remove
the
white plastic
dust cover
from
the
"O.V."
adjustment
hole. Insert screwdriver and turn
the
control
fully
elockwise.
(This
will increase the point at
which
the overvoltage
circuit
will
trip.)
i)
Set
the external power supply to 32.0
volts,
If the
over-
voltage
relay
has
tripped, reset it by
momentarily
disconnecting
regulator
unit,
j)
Turn
the
"O,V." adjustment
slowly
counter-clockwise
until
the
overvoltage
relay
trips.
Remove
the
screwdriver and replace
the
white
plastic dust cover.
k) This completes
the
adjustment to
the overvoltage
protection
circuit.
NOTE:
A fuse should
always
be inserted
in
series
with
the field
connection,
(Pin
B).
If
this
pin is
accidently
shorted to
ground, the resulting
high
current could
destroy
the output transistors
Q6
and
Q7. Fuse
types
are listed
in
Section 2-2,
Specifications.
