5.2.1 Current Measurement within Single-wire
Single-Line Conductors
Position the open current converter perpendicular to the conduc-
tor. Lock the conductor using the conductor lock. The conductor
should run along the spot marked with an arrow.
Read the measurement value displayed on the screen.
The measurement is the same as the measurement with the closed cur-
rent converter (please refer to paragraph 5.1). However, due to the open
current converter the measurement is easier and faster to carry out.
If the display is not visible during the measurement, freeze the me-
asurement data by pressing the key "Data-Hold" (3). Then remove
the clamp from UUT and read the measurement value displayed on
the screen.
5.2.2 Current Measurement in Flat Strip Conductors
Position the open current converter to the conductor.
Read the measurement value from display
If the display is not visible during the measurement, freeze the me-
asurement data by pressing the key "Data-Hold" (3). Then remove
the clamp from UUT and read the measurement value displayed on
the screen.
