How to backup and transfer patches to your computer
Connect your DeepMind to your computer either using a USB cable or to a MIDI interface.
Once connected press the Global button and go into the Connectivity menu and make
note of the Device ID (1). This will be needed to allow you to transfer your .SYX file back to
the DeepMind.
Go to the Export menu and then set your Destination (MIDI or USB), Set the Dump-Type to
All or a specific bank, for instance bank G.

Open MIDlox and go to Options > MIDI Devices and select the DeepMind as your Input
and output Device (If you are using a MIDI Interface select this instead). If you push a button
or more a fader on the DeepMind you should see that this is received in MIDlox.
Next Press View > Sysex and this will open the Sysex View.
Next press Sysex > Receive Manual Dump and your computer is ready to receive the
messages from your DeepMind. Return to your DeepMind and in the Sysex Export menu,
use the Sysex-dump option, Press YES, and you should see that MIDlox is receiving the
message.
It is extremely important not to disturb the DeepMind or your computer. Once completed
press Done on the Sysex Receive Window, and then Display Window > Save.

Next Press View > Sysex and this will open the Sysex View.
Press Command Window, Load File and you should see the sysex message appear. You can
now go to Command Window, Send Sysex and you should see that your DeepMind is
receiving the message.
