6.4.5.8 Operation 55. Greasing of bushings of front axle steering knuckles
Note – The operation shall be performed only on BELARUS-80.1 tractors. In case of
use of grease MS-1000 TU 0254-003-45540231-99 the operation shall be performed every
2000 hours of tractor operation.
To grease the bushings of front axle steering knuckles, do the following:
- clean two grease fittings 2 (Figure 6.4.46) located on bodies of steering knuckles 1
from dirt and dried grease;
- with the help of grease gun 4 make from 10 to 12 injections of grease through
grease fittings 2 (one fitting per each knuckle).
