While the oven is waiting for the cooking start time to arrive, the display screen will show the current time of day alternating with
the current time of day, and the word 'Auto' will be displayed.
If you wish to cancel the automatic programme, simply touch and hold the power on key for at least one second.
Pausing the cooking process
You can pause the cooking at any time, for example to stir or turn the food. Touch the pause key, or simply open the oven door. The
remaining cooking duration time will pause counting down. Once you have stirred or turned the food, close the door and press the
start key to continue cooking. The remaining cooking duration time will recommence counting down. While cooking is paused you
can stir or turn the food, touch the cooking time key and adjust the duration time, or touch the adjustment key and adjust the
temperature, weight or power level. If you wish to cancel the cooking programme completely, touch and hold the power key for at
least a second.
During cooking, if you wish to adjust the cooking duration time, temperature, microwave power level or weight, you must first pause
the cooking programme.
Touch the pause button to interrupt the cooking programme. You can them touch the cooking time key and use the plus and/or
minus keys to adjust the cooking duration time. You can touch the adjustment key to select the temperature, microwave power
level or weight setting, and then use the plus and/or minus keys to select the required setting. Once you have made your
adjustments, touch the start key to continue cooking.
At the end of cooking, and how to cancel a cooking programme.
At the end of the cooking programme, the oven beeps three times and the display shows 'End'. The alarm repeats every 30 seconds
for 5 minutes or until the door is opened. The alarm can also be silenced by touching the pause key. The oven then returns to
standby mode.
When selecting a function, cooking duration time, or delayed start time, if you make a mistake simply touch the power key for about
a second until you hear a beep. All settings will be cancelled and the oven returns to standby mode, so that you can start again.
Show room demonstration mode
In show room mode, the controls will work but the appliance does not heat up. This function is only to be used in retail showrooms;
do not select this function at home.
To activate showroom mode, while the oven is in standby mode, touch and hold the power key and the clock setting key together
until 'OFF SHO' appears on the screen. Then touch the plus or minus key once until 'ON SHO' appears on the screen. Touch the clock
setting key again to confirm the setting and to return to standby mode. Now the oven controls can be demonstrated as normal, but
when touch the start key the 'SHOW' symbol lights up to remind you that the appliance in showroom mode.
To deactivate showroom mode, while the oven is in standby mode, touch and hold the power key and the clock setting key together
until 'ON SHO' appears on the screen. Then touch the plus or minus key once until 'OFF SHO' appears on the screen. Touch the clock
setting key again to confirm the setting and to return to standby mode. Now the oven controls will work as normal.
Child lock function.
To activate the child lock, while the oven is in standby mode, touch and hold the child lock key for about 3 seconds until you hear a
beep and the lock symbol appears in the display.
To deactivate the child lock, touch and hold the child lock key for about 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the lock symbol
disappears from the display.
Cooling fan
The oven is equipped with a cooling fan which comes into operation as soon as the selected cooking function begins. The cooling fan
takes in cool air from the back of the appliance and then blows it out of the front of the appliance between the top of the door and
the control panel, to help keep the door handle and controls cooler during use. The cooling fan may run on for a while after the end
of the cooking programme and this is normal.
Door message
For safety, the oven is equipped with a door interlock system which prevents microwave cooking programmes starting unless the
door is properly closed. After setting a microwave power level, cooking duration time and touching the start key to start the
cooking, if the screen displays a ‘door’ message, it indicates that the door is not properly closed. Please open the door, check for any
blockages and close the door again correctly before trying to start the cooking programme again.
