  If your Beltone Hearing Aid has no sound, first ensure that the instrument is switched on and is set to the microphone program, not the telecoil program. Then, check if a battery is inserted and if it is still good; replace it with a new one if necessary. If the issue continues, the plastic tube or earmold might be clogged or broken, or your ear may be full of wax; in these cases, visit your hearing care practitioner or physician.

  Feedback or whistling can occur in your Beltone Hearing Aid if your earmold/dome isn't correctly inserted. Try reinserting it. It may also happen if the volume is too loud, so try reducing it. Ensure that you are not holding your hand or any object too close to the hearing aid. If the problem persists, and the plastic tube or earmold is clogged or broken, or if earwax is the cause, consult your hearing care practitioner or physician.

  If the sound from your Beltone Hearing Aid is distorted or weak, the battery may be dead or dirty. Replace it with a new one or clean it. If that doesn't solve the problem, and your instrument got moist, use a desiccator. If the plastic tube or earmold is clogged or broken, visit your hearing care practitioner.

  If the battery of your Beltone Hearing Aid drains very quickly, make sure you always switch off the instrument at night. Also, check the date on the battery packaging to ensure the battery is not old.
