5.1 MANUAL RECOIL START
WARNING!
Ensure the lawn mower’s blade is securely fastened before
starting the engine. The blade will begin to rotate as soon as the
engine is started.
1. Stand behind the mower and pull the power lever lever toward the handle
grip with one hand.
2. Place the other hand on the starter handle. Pull the starter handle until you
feel a resistance and then start the engine with a sharp pull. If the engine
fails to start after three pulls, repeat the steps 1-2.
3. Once the engine is running, put the recoil handle into the recoil handle loop.
NOTE
Return the recoil handle slowly by hand, DO NOT let it snap back.
Before starting, ensure the spark plug cap is connected to the spark
plug and the engine is lled with sufcient oil and gas.
