If your Benchmark Portable Generator's engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, make sure the start/stop lever is pressed. If that's not the issue, the spark plug may be defective and need replacement. Check if the fuel tank is empty and refill if necessary. Lastly, the engine might be flooded, in which case you should remove the plug and dry it.
