In situations of decreased peripheral blood ow, examples would include but
are not limited to severe dehydration, in shock, or in a hyperosmolar state (with
or without ketosis), hypertension, the test results may be falsely low.

BeneCheck PLUS Uric Acid Test Strips are plasma calibrated, test with serum or
plasma sample will give falsely high results.
●
Lipemic samples : Cholesterol levels up to 400 mg/dL (10.35 mmol/L) do
not
affect the results. Triglycerides and grossly lipemic patient samples have not
been tested and are not recommended for testing with the BeneCheck PLUS
Uric Acid Test Strips.
