In the event of temporary absence over the weekend, brief trips,
etc. proceed as follows:
- Set the room thermostats to around 10°C
- Set parameter 2 to “10” or alternatively set the storage heater ther-
mostat to 10°C
By leaving the power supply on, as signalled by the green LED
flashing, and the fuel supply open the boiler is protected.
The electronic controller has a frost protection function that is also
active in standby
The frost protection function has two levels:
- the first starts the pump
 if the manifold temperature ≥ 5°C, or alternatively, when CH_
type=1 and the outside probe is connected;
 iftheout.temp≤3°C(Par.35=Frost_protection)thesystempump
and the pump in the high temperature circuit are started.
- the second starts the pump and the burner
 ifafter10minutesthetemperatureinthemanifold≤5°C,aburner
is started at maximum output until the temperature in the manifold
≥20°C;
 ifafter10minutesthetemperatureinthemanifold≥5°C,whileif
CH_Type = 1 and the outside probe is connected, and the outside
temperature≤3°C,thepumpcontinuesoperatinguntiltheoutside
temperature≥3°C.
Shutting down for extended periods
If the boiler is not used for an extended
period, the following operations must
be performed:
- Move the main system switch and the
main boiler switch (1) to “off” and check
that the green indicator lights (2) and
(3) are off.
- Close the fuel and water valves on the
central heating system.
b In this case, the frost protection
system is deactivated. Empty
the central heating and DHW
system if there is the risk of fre-
ezing.
Temporary shutdown
En cas d’absences temporaires, week-end, voyage de courte
durée, etc., procéder comme suit :
- Régler les thermostats d’ambiance sur environ 10°C.
- Régler le paramètre 2 sur « 10 » ou régler le thermostat du ballon
sur 10°C.
Quand l’alimentation électrique signalée par la LED verte cligno-
tante et l’alimentation du combustible restent actives, la chaudière
est protégée.
Le contrôleur électronique a une protection antigel active même
en condition de stand-by.
La protection antigel a deux niveaux :
- le premier conduit à l’activation de la pompe
 si température collecteur ≥ 5°C ou avec CH_type=1 et sonde
extérieure connectée ;
 sitemp.extérieure≤3°C(Par.35=Frost_protection),lapompede
système et la pompe du circuit haute température sont activées ;
- le deuxième active la pompe et le brûleur
si,après10’,onatempératurecollecteur≤5°C,unbrûleurs’allume
aumaximumjusqu’àcequ’onaittempératurecollecteur≥20°C;
 si,après10’,températurecollecteur≤5°C,maisavecCH_Type=
1,sondeextérieureconnectéeettempératureExtérieure≤3°C,la
pompe continue à tourner jusqu’à ce que la température extérieure
≥3°C.
Arrêt pour de longues périodes
La non-utilisation de la chaudière pen-
dant une longue période comporte la
réalisation des opérations suivantes :
- Mettre l’interrupteur général de l’in-
stallation et l’interrupteur principal de
la chaudière (1) sur « arrêt » et vérifier
que la signalisation verte (2) s’éteint.
- Fermer les robinets du combustible et
de l’eau de l’installation de chauffage.
b Dans ce cas le système anti-
gel est désactivé. Vidanger les
installations de chauffage et
sanitaire s’il y a un risque de
gel.
