Attach cording foot to machine.
Select three heavy decorative
threads; thread through the
grooves in the front of the foot.
Select a sewn out zigzag stitch.
Couch the decorative threads
over a seam.

Attach Braiding Foot #21/12C to
machine. Select a yarn or trim;
thread through opening in foot.
Select a ladder, double overlock,
or universal stitch. Couch yarn or
trim over a seam, centering yarn
over the seam.

Ribbon
Attach the zigzag/universal foot
to the machine.
Select a blanket, zigzag, or
other decorative stitch. Place
the ribbon over a seam; stitch
in place, sewing through the
center of the ribbon.

Attach Open Embroidery Foot
#20/20C to the machine.
Select a stipple, floral, or other
decorative stitch. Place ribbon
over a seam; stitch in place,
centering ribbon between the
toes of the foot.
Couching
BERNINA

only: Beads: Select a triple zigzag stitch; adjust length
and width to 5mm. Place a strand of beads under the groove in the
sole of Bulky Overlock Foot #12/12C.
Begin stitching; adjust stitch length so stitches fall between beads.
Continue stitching, couching beads over one of the patchwork seams.
