Deadlocked
functions
Warning!
The following lists describe how the deadbolt operates for each
deadlocked 45H & 47H function.
Locks that secure both sides of the door are controlled by building
codes and the Life Safety Code
®
. In an emergency exit situation,
failure to quickly unlock the door could be hazardous, or even fatal.
AD–Deadlock (ANSI F17) RD–Classroom deadlock (ANSI F29)
Deadbolt extended by:

Deadbolt retracted by:
■ inside thumb turn
Deadbolt extended by:
