  Several factors can cause your Bestway Hot Tub pump to not heat properly: * The temperature might be set too low – try setting it to a higher temperature. * The filter cartridge might be dirty – clean or replace it. * The water levels might be improper – add water to the specified levels. * The 2 stopper caps might be still on – remove the 2 stopper caps before heating. * The thermal cut-out might have tripped – press the “Reset” button on the pump. * The heating element might have failed – in this case, call for service.

First, the pump might be too hot; unplug it, let it cool down, then plug it back in and press the Lay-Z-Massage System button. Alternatively, the 30-minute auto shut off feature may have activated; simply press the Lay-Z-Massage System button again to reactivate it. If it still doesn't work, there might be an issue with the pump itself, and you should call for service if it does not reset.
