Summary

Device Overview and Connections

Analog Extension Connection

Connects to an analogue extension (DTMF) in the telephone system, configured for hotline.

Exit Button Functionality

Exit button connects terminals 12 and 13. A closed connection results in door opening.

Calling Input

Input for initiating a call. Connecting terminals 11 and 13 makes BM31 call.

Call Ending Input

Input for terminating a call. Connecting terminals 10 and 13 makes BM31 hang up.

Camera Relay Output

Output for controlling a surveillance camera. Connects terminals 8 and 9.

Tamper Switch

Tamper switch is normally closed when the housing is closed. Connects terminals 6 and 7.

Power Supply Input

Power supply input connects to terminals 1 and 2.

Electric Lock Connection

Connection for electric locking device. Dashed line indicates failsafe locks.

Speaker Volume Control

Control for adjusting speaker volume.

Microphone Sensitivity Adjustment

Adjustment for setting microphone sensitivity.

Voltage Supply Jumper

Jumper to select 12V or 24V supply. Set to 24V for inputs above 20V.
