INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 ....PREPARING THE MACHINE
• Place the appliance on a fl at, stable surface.
• Lift the lid (2) and remove the tank (3) from its seat.
• Rinse the tank, put it back into its seat and pour cold water (max. amount 800 ml), Fig. C.
HOT WATER AND OTHER LIQUIDS MAY DAMAGE THE TANK
AND THE MACHINE ITSELF.
• It is possible to fi ll the tank inserted in its seat only when the machine is NOT working or is
NOT plugged.
• Connect the appliance making sure the mains specifi cations match the technical data on the
apposite label situated on the appliance bottom.
2 ....MACHINE HEATING
• Press the lighted switch (8) to switch the machine on: the machine starts and the heats up.
During this phase, the switch blinks in red.
• Wait until the switch has a steady red light (heater ready).

3 ....DISPENSING COFFEE/INFUSIONS
CHECK THE WATER LEVEL IS ABOVE THE MIN. LEVEL IN THE
TANK (3).
NEVER USE THE MACHINE WHEN THE WATER TANK IS EMPTY.
WHEN USING THE MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME, DISPENSE
ONLY WATER (WITHOUT CAPSULE) BEFORE DISPENSING
COFFEE.
• Remove the capsule-holder drawer (4) and insert a capsule into the apposite seat (Fig. D).
USE ONLY BIALETTI CAPSULES “I CAFFÈ D’ITALIA”.
• Insert the drawer into its seat by pushing deeply (Fig. E). A magnet allows the correct position
of the drawer.
IN CASE THE DRAWER IS NOT POSITIONED PROPERLY, THE
MACHINE DOES NOT WORK (DISABLED PUMP).
