3b - Using pods
Use pods suitable for machines for “bar”- type espresso coffee.
Check that there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine if there is no water in tank (5).
Make sure dial (17) is in position

Remove ! lter holder (10) from its housing.
Place ! lter (14) inside ! lter holder (10) (! g.“M”), making sure that the tabs on the sides of the ! lter “C1” ! t
into the slots in the ! lter holder ”C2” (! g. “C”).
Place pod in centre of ! lter (14) (! g.“N”), checking to ! t any paper tabs on the pod inside the ! lter holder.
Insert ! lter holder (10) into its housing (! g.“E”).
The ! lter holder needs to be inserted correctly, otherwise the machine cannot operate.
Press the on/off light switch
(15) to turn on the machine.
Place a cup on the grill (6). Place in centre of grill right under the coffee delivery spout (! g.“L”).
Wait for the lit ON/OFF switch
(15) to light up and stay on (if not, the pump will not start), then turn
the dial (17) to position ”
to start pouring from the ! lter holder nozzle.
To stop delivery, turn dial (17) again to position
Do not remove fi lter holder (10) from its housing unless dial (17) is in position .
When delivery of coffee is over, empty the ! lter (14) and rinse ! lter holder (10) thoroughly. After rinsing,
shake both parts in order to eliminate any residual water.
3c - Using caps
Only use Bialetti Coffee Caps.
Check that there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine if there is no water in tank (5).
Make sure dial (17) is in position
Remove ! lter holder (10) from its housing.
Place cap holder (11) into ! lter holder (10) (! g.“O”) , making sure that tabs on side of ! lter “C1” ! t into
slots on ! lter holder ”C2” (! g. “C”).
Insert a Bialetti aluminium cap, (! g.“P”).
Insert ! lter holder (10) into its housing (! g.“E”).
The ! lter holder needs to be inserted correctly, otherwise the machine cannot operate.
