9. Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
The machine will not
heat up.
The machine is not
connected to the mains
power.
Connect the machine to
the mains power.
The machine is not
switched on.
Use the ON/OFF button
to switch on the ma-
chine.
The machine will not
pour coffee.
The capsule is stuck or
badly positioned.
Unplug the machine
from the power mains
and wait for it to cool
down; take out the
capsule holder drawer
(3), remove the capsule
manually and insert a
new one correctly.
Empty tank (6). Fill the tank (6) with
water.
The pipes are clogged
with scale.
Carry out a scale remov-
al cycle.
The coffee is cold. The cups are cold. Preheat the cup with
a little boiling water,
poured by pressing the
button (1).
The machine is partly
clogged by scale.
Carry out a scale remov-
al cycle.
The machine is making
too much noise.
Empty tank (6). Fill the tank (6) with
water.
The machine is not
stable on the support
surface.
Make sure it is posi-
tioned on a at and rigid
surface.
The appliance had been
working for a short peri-
od of time without water
in the tank (6).
Make a dispensing cycle
twice or 3 times, or until
the machine noise will
be normal again to allow
the pump to be lled
with water.
