How to change CTCSS sub-channels on Binatone Radio?
    • A
      Alicia HartJul 30, 2025
If you cannot change the CTCSS sub-channels on your Binatone Radio, it may be because the key lock mode is activated. If the Key lock icon is displayed on the LCD Screen, deactivate it. Weak batteries can also cause this issue. To change the CTCSS sub-channel, press the MENU button twice until the CTCSS sub-channel number flashes on the LCD Screen, then press the UP or DOWN button to change the CTCSS sub-channel.

What to do if Binatone TERRAIN 650 Radio has sound distortion problems?
    • M
      martinezreginaldAug 5, 2025
If you experience sound distortion with your Binatone Radio, ensure that the radios are at least 2 meters apart. If you are transmitting, speak in a normal tone of voice, about 5 cm away from the microphone. If you are receiving, lower the volume to a comfortable level. Obstacles may interfere with transmission, so increase your distance.
