4.8 Device Settings
Network Settings
The Network Settings panel allows you to change network related parameters. Each
parameter is explained below. Once applied the new network settings will immediately come
into effect.
IP auto configuration
With this option you can select whether the IP-KVM switch should take its network settings
from a DHCP or BOOTP server. For DHCP, select “dhcp”, and for BOOTP select “bootp”. If you
choose “none” then IP auto configuration is disabled.
IP address
IP address in the usual dot notation
Subnet Mask
The net mask of the local network.
Gateway IP address
If the IP-KVM switch should be accessible from networks other than the local one, this IP ad-
dress must be set to the local network router's IP address.
