The BLACK+DECKER Portable Air Conditioner is designed to provide cooling, dehumidification, and fan-only operation for indoor spaces. It is a self-contained unit that can be easily moved between rooms thanks to its casters. The unit exhausts warm air through a hose connected to a window slider kit. It features an auto water evaporation system, reducing the need for frequent draining in cooling mode, except in high humidity conditions or at the end of the season. Usage Features:

Modes of Operation:
- COOL Mode: Ideal for hot weather. Users can set the desired temperature between 64°F (18°C) and 90°F (32°C) and select fan speeds (HIGH, MED, LOW, AUTO).
- DEHUMIDIFY Mode: Reduces humidity in spring, autumn, rainy spells, or damp rooms. The fan speed is automatically selected in this mode. Exhaust hose attachment is recommended in very humid rooms.
- FAN Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Users can select HIGH, MED, or LOW fan speeds. AUTO fan speed is not available in this mode.

Water Drainage:

- Intermittent Draining: Required when the internal water tank is full (indicated by "FL" on the display). The unit stops operation until drained. Draining is done by removing the bottom drain cap.
- Continuous Draining: Can be set up for dehumidification mode and cooling mode by connecting a drain hose (supplied) to the drain outlet, leading to a floor drain or drip tray.
