Chapter 5 Basic operation
› Press „STR/MONO“ or „ST/MO“ to switch between two-channel stereo and one-channel mono
operation.
Storing stations
Selecting a preset station
› There are diferent ways of selecting a preset station.
› Press a numeric button to select a memory preset. Press the „SHIFT ” button frst and then the
1 – 5 button to select a preset station between 6 and 10.
Example
To select station preset 8, press the „SHIFT ” button frst and then the number „3”.
› Press „P ” down shortly to display a list of stored stations. Use the „ “ and „ “ buttons or turn
the „CONTROL“ dial to select the preferred station. Press the „ENTER” button or the „CONTROL”
dial to confrm and switch to the selected station. Press „ t“, „P“ or „BACK“ to exit this menu. The
menu will close automatically after a while.
Station information
› Press the „INFO“ button repeatedly to browse through diverse information. The type of infor
mation and whether information is displayed all depends on the broadcasting station.

> Press and hold the numeric key(1-5) to save the station to preset number(1-5).
If the preset number over 5, then press and hold “SHIFT” key, then press key(1-5) to save the
station to preset number(6-10).
10 memory presets are available for storing.
