Why won't my Blodgett Convection Oven fire?
    • J
      Joseph AndrewsAug 11, 2025
Your Blodgett Convection Oven might not fire due to several reasons: the gas could be turned off (turn the gas valve to ON), the oven might not be plugged in (plug in the electrical supply cord), the power switch on the control panel might be off (set the control panel to COOK or OVEN ON), the control might be set below ambient temperature (set to desired cook temperature), or the doors might be open (close doors).

What to do if my Blodgett Convection Oven does not come to ready?

      wrightmonicaAug 21, 2025
If your Blodgett Convection Oven doesn't reach the ready state, it could be due to several factors. The oven may not have reached preheat temperature (wait for oven to reach preheat temperature), the gas valve may not be fully turned on (check the gas valve, turn on fully if necessary), or the quick disconnect might not be connected (reconnect the quick connect and check all gas connections). Also, the gas pressure to the oven might be too low (call your local gas representative).

Why is the convection fan not running in my Blodgett Convection Oven?
    • M
      Michelle DominguezAug 30, 2025
The convection fan in your Blodgett Convection Oven might not be running because the oven isn't plugged in (plug in the electrical supply cord), the circuit breaker has tripped (reset the breaker), or the doors are open (close doors).
