Attaching the upper retaining strap
to the mounting point
1. Open the cover of the mounting point.
2. Raise the head restraint.
3. Guide the upper retaining strap between the
mounts or along both sides of the head re‐
straint to the mounting point.
On the middle seat, guide the strap over or
along both sides of the head restraint to the
mounting point as needed.
4. Attach the hook of the retaining strap to the
mounting point.
5. Tighten the retaining strap by pulling it firmly
down.
6. Lower and lock the head restraint in place as
necessary.
Suitable ISOFIX child restraint systems
The following ISOFIX child restraints may be
used on the seats designated as appropriate for
this purpose. The corresponding size class and
size category are denoted by a letter or ISO ref‐
erence on a plate on the child seat.
