Why is my Bomag BW 100 AD-5 engine starting poorly?

If your Bomag Construction Equipment engine starts poorly or runs irregularly with poor power, consider these potential causes: low battery power, loose or oxidized terminal clamps causing slow starter turnover (check battery charge, clean and tighten terminal clamps with acid-free grease). Also, low fuel supply or a fuel system clogged by paraffin in winter can be the reason (replace the fuel filter, check fuel lines for leaks, bleed the fuel system, and use winter fuel). Other possible reasons include engine oil with the wrong SAE viscosity (change the engine oil) or a dirty air filter (clean or replace it).
