Why won't my Bond PGF5820-1 Outdoor Fireplace heating unit light?
    • J
      James MarksAug 1, 2025
There are several reasons why the heating unit won't light: * The igniter pin and burner may be wet. If so, dry them off with a soft cloth. * There may be no gas flow. Check that the gas tank isn’t empty. * The regulator might not be securely connected to the tank. Tighten the regulator connection to the gas tank. * The electrode wire could be loose or disconnected. Reconnect the wire to the igniter box located inside the unit behind the igniter box. * The igniter pin is broken or the electrode wire is shorting between valve and igniter pin. In these cases, contact Bond Manufacturing Co., Inc. for a replacement part.
