  If your Bond Outdoor Fireplace heating unit won’t light, there are several possible causes: * The igniter pin may be broken. * The electrode wire might be loose or disconnected; reconnect the wire to the igniter box located inside the fire pit behind the igniter box. * The electrode wire could be shorting between the valve and igniter pin. * There may be no gas flow; check that the gas tank isn’t empty. * The regulator isn’t securely connected to the tank; tighten the regulator connection to the gas tank. For broken igniter pins or electrode wires shorting, contact Bond Manufacturing Co., Inc. for a replacement part.

After waiting, turn the control knob back to the ‘off’ position and reconnect the propane gas tank. Then light the fire unit. * High or gusting winds. If this is the case, increase the flame to ‘high’.
