Proper use
The charger is designed for charging non-maintenance- free or maintenance-free 6 V/12 V starter baeries (lead acid baeries) and for lead gel/ AGM baeries
which are used in motor vehicles.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will
be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applicaons. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is
used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.
Before starng the equipment
Please also refer to the instrucons in the Owners manuals for the car, radio, navigaon system, etc.
Notes on automac charging: The charger is a microprocessor controlled automac charger, i.e. it is suitable in parcular for charging maintenance-free baer-
ies and for the long-term charging and maintenance-charging of baeries which are not in constant use, e.g. For classic cars, recreaonal vehicles, lawn tractors
and the like. The integrated microprocessor enables charging in several steps. The nal charging step, maintenance charging, maintains the baery capacity at
95–100% and therefore keeps the baery fully charged at all mes. The charging operaon does not need to be monitored. However, do not leave the baery
unaended if you charge it over an extended period of me, so that you can disconnect it from the mains power supply in the event of a fault in the charger.
