Troubleshooting
You can eliminate minor issues on your appliance your-
self. Please read the information on eliminating issues be-
fore contacting Customer Service. This may avoid unnec-
essary repair costs.
WARNING
Improper repairs are dangerous.
▶ Only original spare parts may be used to repair the ap-
pliance.
▶ If the power cord of this appliance becomes damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufac-
turer's Customer Service, or an authorized service
provider in order to prevent injury.
Issue Cause and troubleshooting
The appliance is not cooling, the
displays and lighting are lit.
Showroom mode is switched on.

2. Wait 2minutes.

Switch the appliance back on. →

4. Wait 1minute and then hold down until 4 audible signals sound.
5. After a short time, check whether your appliance is cooling.
The LED lighting does not work. Various causes are possible.

Side panels of the appliance are
warm.
Not a fault. The side panels contain pipes which heat up during the cooling process.
Units touching the appliance will not be damaged by the heat.
No action required.
HomeConnect® is not working
properly.
Various causes are possible.
▶ Go to www.home-connect.com.
The temperature displays and
light up.
A sensor is defective.

A warning tone sounds and the set
temperature (refrigerator compart-
ment) and flash.
The refrigerator compartment door is open.
▶ Close the refrigerator compartment door.
A warning tone sounds and the set
temperature (freezer compartment)
and flash.
Various causes are possible.
▶ Press .
a The alarm is switched off.
The freezer compartment door is open.
▶ Close the freezer compartment door.
External ventilation openings are covered up.
▶ Remove any obstructions from in front of the external ventilation openings.
Large quantities of fresh food have been placed inside.
▶ Do not exceed the freezing capacity.
The set temperature is not
reached.
Fully automatic defrosting no
longer works.
The freezer compartment door was open for a long time. The evaporator (refrigera-
tion unit) in the NoFrost system is heavily iced up.
Requirement:Store the frozen food well insulated in a cool place.

Unplug the power plug or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box.

The temperature differs greatly
from the setting.

‒ If the temperature is too warm, check the temperature again after a couple of
hours.
‒ If the temperature is too cold, check the temperature again on the following
day.
