When measuring speed using the clip-on sensor, the adapter
cable 1 684 465 513 must always be connected between the
FSA 740‘s plug socket and the connecting cables for the clip-on
sensor.
Voltages of no more than 200 V may be
measured at the multi measuring cables

Place printer in the trolley (Fig. 1; Item 8) (see installa-2.

Plug mains connection cable and the USB connec-3.
tion cable into the printer. Both cables are provided
ready for connection in the trolley.
The printer cartridges can only be inserted i
when the printer is switched on (see installation
instructions 1 689 978 489).
Before turning on for the first time4.2
The voltage supply is provided by the lighting mains.
BEA is set ex-factory to 100 V ‒ 230 V, 50/60 Hz. Note
the appropriate details on the sticker on the side of the
BEA device.
BEA 050 is set ex-factory to 230 V. The transformer
mains voltage may only be set by the authorized custo-
mer service. For this, please note the instructions in the
documentation to BEA 050.
Before starting up, make sure that the voltage of the !
lighting mains matches the voltage set on the BEA. If
the BEA is operated outdoors, we recommend using
a voltage source, which is fused by means of an FI
circuit breaker.
Language selection by Windows4.3
After turning on for the first time, use the menu to se-
lect the language of the Windows operating system.
It is not possible to subsequently change the language.
However, should this be necessary, please contact your
Bosch authorized dealer.
Software installation4.4
The software installation of the “emissions system
analysis” can be found in the program description
contained in the delivery specification.
