4.7 Reset the temperature limiting
control
B Turn off power to the water heater.
B Pull off front cover below control pad (secured with
magnet). Remove upper jacket access panel (Fig. 8)
and insulation to access both temperature limiter
resets and insulation.
The thermostat protective cover should not be
removed.
B Press both red reset buttons to reset.
B Replace the insulation and jacket access panel(s)
before turning on the power to the water heater.
NOTE: if the power for the water heater is
turned off and then back on, the compres-
sor will not start for 3 minutes to avoid in-
ternal damage.
