Before starting the electrical work:
▶ Isolate all poles of the mains voltage and secure against reconnection
▶ Make sure the mains voltage is disconnected
▶ Observe the wiring diagrams of the other system components as well
4 Inspection and maintenance
In order to activate a full test cycle where lights, messages, and audible sounds are
performed:
▶ Press the TEST/SILENCE button for one second
During the entire test, the red light of the status indicator on the DB-CO will flash, and
the relay COM NO is disconnected. After the test, the DB-CO returns to normal – the
green light of the status indicator is continuously on and the relay COM NO is connected.
Test the device every month. If the product does not perform as described, replace it
immediately.
The product will not protect against the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning when the
battery has drained.
4.1 Modifications and repairs
Improper modifications and repairs can result in personal injury and/or material damage.
1. Do not open the product housing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
2. Do not modify or repair the product.
3. Do not use the product in case of defects or visible damages.
