1.3 Replacing the license sticker
¶ Place the provided license sticker on top of
the Windows7 license sticker on the bottom
of DCU 220.
2. Downloading DDM
1. Use the shortcut "downloadDDM" on the
desktop to download DDM.
i Before download and on starting the instal-
lation, Windows Defender SmartScreen will
indicate security concerns because the file
has not been downloaded frequently. The
file does not pose a risk for system security.
2. Use "Run anyway" to acknowledge the
Windows Defender SmartScreen message
? The download will start.
3. Use a double-click to run "ddmsteup.exe".
4. Again, use "Run anyway" to acknowledge the
Windows Defender SmartScreen message.
? The DDM setup will start.
5. Read and follow the instructions on the
screen.
3. System recovery
i After installation of Windows10, the provi-
ded DVD must always be used for recovering
DCU 220. It is no longer possible to use
<Ctrl>+<Alt>+<F2> during the system start-
up process to perform a recovery.
¶ To use the provided DVD for recovery, follow
„1.2 Windows 10 installieren“.
