Assembly
Always remove the power tool bat-
tery or disconnect the plug from
the power source before installation or removal of com-
munications module. Such preventive safety measures re-
duce the risk of starting the tool accidently.
A. Unlock the cover of con-
nectivity module 4 on the
power tool by turning it
counterclockwise with a
flat-head screwdriver or
a large coin. Using unsuit-
able objects can damage
the electronics or the
cover.
B. Lift the cover of connec-
tivity module 4 and put it
aside.
C. Pull out the placeholder
3.
Note: Store the placeholder
3 of GCY42 in a safe place.
Reinsert the placeholder
again if the communications
module is removed.
