In appliances with a drum light:
The drum is lit after switching on the
appliance, after opening and closing the
door and after starting a programme.
The light switches off automatically.
You can:
■ Use this programme and load
laundry. ~ Page 29
■ Or select another programme.
You can find an overview of all
programmes on the printed
supplement for the installation and
operating instructions.
■ Or change the programme default
settings. ~ Page 29
■ And/or select additional programme
settings. ~ Page 29
Calling up additional
programmes
You can call up additional programmes
via the Home Connect app:
1. Connect the appliance to your home
network and to the Home Connect
app. ~ Page 32
2. Select the Additional programs
programme.
‘˜˜ will appear on the display.
Tip: You can also select
programmes directly via the Home
Connect app.
3. Select the programme you want to
call up in the Home Connect app.
The settings for the selected
programme will appear on the
display.
4. Adjust the programme settings if
necessary and press Start/
Pause A.
Tip: If you press Remote start briefly
on the appliance beforehand, you will
also have the option of starting the
programme via the Home Connect
app.
Change the programme
default settings
To change the current settings, touch
the button you require on the control
panel and the relevant indicator will
switch to full brightness.
You can change Finished in-time by
touching N or M.

Select additional programme
settings
By selecting additional settings, you can
better adapt the washing process to
your items of laundry.
To do this, touch the required control
panel; the relevant display switches to
full brightness.

Placing laundry into the drum
:Warning
Danger of death!
Items of laundry pretreated with
cleaning agents that contain solvents,
e.g. stain remover/cleaning solvent,
may cause an explosion after being
loaded into the washing machine.
Hand-rinse these items of laundry
thoroughly beforehand.
Notes
■ Mix items of laundry of varying
sizes.Laundry items of different sizes
distribute themselves better during
the spin cycle.Individual laundry
items may cause an unbalanced
load.
■ Observe the maximum specified
load. Overfilling adversely affects the
washing result and promotes
creasing.
