Not an appliance fault – the unbalanced load detection system has interrupted the
spin cycle because the laundry is unevenly distributed.
Distribute small and large items of laundry evenly in the drum. Run the spin cycle
again, if necessary.

There is water in the base trough; the appliance is leaking. Turn off the tap. Call the

Faults Cause/remedy
Water is leaking from the
appliance.
■ Attach the drain hose correctly or replace it.
■ Tighten the threaded joint on the supply hose.
The appliance is not filling
with water.
The pause function can-
not be activated.
For some programs (e.g. Cottons), there is a specific load detection step once
the program is started. This takes approx. 1 minute. The appliance adjusts the
amount of water depending on the size of the load. Water is then supplied to the
drum. The pause function can then be activated.
