5.4.3 Select zones
The BGM is distributed to the zones with the Zone
select buttons (see figure 5.4). A green LED indicates
the zones to which BGM is distributed.
•If the Zone select indicator is off, no BGM is
distributed to the zone. Push the Zone select button
to distribute the BGM to the zone.
•If the Zone select indicator is on, BGM is distributed
to the zone. Push the Zone select button to stop
distributing the BGM to the zone.
5.4.4 Adjust volume
The voice alarm controller has two types of controls to
adjust the BGM volume (see figure 5.5). The overall
(maximum) volume of the BGM source is set with the
master volume control, which is located below the BGM
source selector (Select button, see figure 5.3). Per zone,
the local volume can be adjusted with the zone volume
switches, which are located below the zone selection
buttons (Zone select, see figure 5.4).
5.4.5 Adjust frequencies
The voice alarm controller has two rotary knobs to
adjust the sound of the BGM (see figure 5.6).
Use the upper rotary knob to adjust the treble or
high frequency content of the BGM.
Use the lower rotary knob to adjust the bass or low
frequency content of the BGM.
