8Troubleshooting
8.1 Faults and diagnosis
If the Power Charge 7000i does not respond after plugging in
the charging cable or after the authenticating via RFID system,
please check the power supply on the building side.
If the LED status flashes red six times an error is indicated.

If any of the faults persist, please contact support.
LED display Description Troubleshooting
Afterwards the LED is blue (3 sec.). The residual current protection
device in the product has been
triggered.
Perform a visual inspection of the product,
charging cable and vehicle.
To reset the residual current protection device,
you must disconnect the charging cable from
the vehicle for about 4 s. After you have
reconnected the charging cable to the vehicle,
the charging process can be requested by the
vehicle.
After the LED flashes blue 3x
(on 50% / off 50%).
Over-temperature. You don't have to intervene. After a self-test and the
fault is corrected, the LED lights up green. The
vehicle can request charging.
After the LED flashes blue 3x
(on 90% / off 10%).
Possible cause of interference:
Over-voltage or under-voltage of
the supply voltage.
In case of over-voltage or under-voltage, you do not
have to intervene. After a self-test and the fault is
corrected, the LED lights up green. The vehicle can
request charging
After the LED flashes blue 3x
(on 10% / off 90%).
Communication disturbance
with the vehicle or exceeding the
maximum set current.
Check if the charging cable is correctly plugged into
the vehicle. After a self-test and the fault is
corrected, the LED lights up green. The vehicle can
request charging.
After the LED flashes blue 6x
(on 50% / off 50%).
Internal disturbance of the
product.
Disconnect the charging cable from the vehicle.
Disconnect the product from the supply voltage by
switching off the associated building-side line
fuses. Wait about 1 minute and then turn the line
fuse back on.
Reconnect the charging cable to the vehicle. After a
self-test and the fault is corrected, the LED lights up
green. The vehicle can request charging.
