3.4 Update
Click UPDATE on top of the web browser page to
check and/or update the device firmware and
CONFIGURATION pages. The already saved
configuration parameters will not change at update.
Update kit
Unpack the zip file that contains the update kit and save
it to a local drive. The update kit can be found on the
supplied CD and/or Bosch Security Systems restricted
download web page.
Click UPDATE on top of the page. The update page
appears which shows the current device HW/SW
version and a link. See figure 3.16.
Click Please click here to start the update. A countdown
screen appears and then the next update page, see figure
3.17.
Click Browse and select the file named compound.bin
inside the folder update_rescue, see figure 3.18. Open this
file.
Click Upload, see figure 3.19. This process can take a
few minutes. When completed click Reboot.
After a successful upload, the following text
...\compound.bin successfully loaded appears, see
figure 3.20.
Then click Update and Reboot. Finally click Click here to
reload the main page. The STATUS page appears.
Advanced Update
The link Advanced Update should only be used when
requested. It allows for partial updates when the target
address is known. Within this manual the Advanced
Update function is not supported.
