How to fix a Bosch WFMC64 Washer door that won't lock?
    • J
      Jessica CookAug 1, 2025
If the door of your Bosch washer isn't locking, make sure it's closed properly and check the door latch and hinge alignment. If that's not the problem, the door latch might be broken (replace it). Another possibility is a failed door lock (measure resistance of the door lock mechanism, should be ~ 159 - 211 ?, and replace if faulty).

Why Bosch WFMC64 Washer won't heat?
    • R
      Rebecca GibbsAug 7, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Bosch washer from heating. It could be a failed heater (check resistance at terminals, should be ~ 13.7 – 15.2 ? and replace if faulty), a failed NTC (check resistance at terminals, should be ~ 22.8 – 27.4 k ? @ 20ºC (68ºF) and replace if faulty), or a heater covered with scale (clean or replace it). Also, low voltage (have an electrician check the wiring) or a failed control module (check voltage output to drain pump when energized and replace if no voltage) could be the cause.

What to do if the drum won’t rotate in my Bosch WFMC64 Washer?
    • T
      Thomas HaynesAug 13, 2025
If the drum in your Bosch washer isn't rotating, the issue might stem from a few potential causes. First, the drum rear bearing may have failed, which you can check by seeing if the drum wobbles or won’t move (replace the outer tub if this is the case). Alternatively, the motor control could be faulty (check voltage at motor connectors when the motor is energized, replace if low or no voltage), or the drum drive motor itself might have failed (check voltage at motor connectors when the motor is energized, if ~ 120V, check motor resistance when the washer is de-energized and replace the motor if faulty).

Why my Bosch WFMC64 Washer overheats?
    • E
      Evelyn MuellerAug 19, 2025
Your Bosch washer may overheat due to a failed control module (check voltage to the heater; if voltage is present when the heater shouldn’t be on, replace the module) or a failed NTC (disconnect the NTC and measure resistance at terminals, it should be ~ 22.8 – 27.4 k? @ 20ºC (68ºF), and replace the NTC if faulty).

How to prevent suds lock in my Bosch WFMC64 Washer?
    • E
      Eric CalhounAug 26, 2025
To address suds lock in your Bosch washer: * Clean the washer every 6 months by running it without clothing, using a hot water wash (with cold water rinse) and ½ gallon of white vinegar. * Use HE (High Efficiency) detergent and the correct amount. * To remove suds from clothes, rewash them with liquid fabric softener, ½ the recommended amount of detergent, and a cold water rinse.
