Why won't my Bosch WFMC3200UC start?
    • T
      Theresa OlsonJul 30, 2025
Your Bosch Washer might not start due to a disconnected or turned-off power supply. Ensure the washer is properly connected to a 120V, 60 Hz circuit, following local electrical codes, and that the power is turned on. Alternatively, the cycle selector knob or control module may have failed. Check the voltage output to the water inlet valves and drum motor when they are energized. If there's no voltage, consider replacing the faulty control module.

What to do if my Bosch WFMC3200UC won't drain?
    • A
      Amy MillerAug 3, 2025
If your Bosch Washer won't drain, the drain pump or its motor protector may have failed. Disconnect the drain pump and measure the resistance at the connector (aim for ~140 – 200 Ω). Replace the drain pump if it's faulty. Another cause could be a failed control module. Check the voltage output to the drain pump when it's energized; if there's no voltage, replace the control module.

Why is my Bosch Washer not filling with water?
    • M
      Maria GonzalezAug 7, 2025
Several issues can cause your Bosch Washer not to fill. First, ensure the water supply is turned on. Next, check the water inlet hose filters (strainers) for blockages; clean them if dirty or replace them if damaged. Low water pressure could also be the culprit, so check the incoming water pressure. Additionally, a failed control module could be the cause; check the voltage output to the water inlet valves when they're energized, and if there's no voltage, replace the control module. Lastly, the water inlet valve(s) themselves might have failed; measure their resistance (aim for ~ 2.7 – 4.5 kΩ), and replace them if faulty.

How to fix a Bosch WFMC3200UC drum that won't rotate?
    • G
      ggutierrezAug 11, 2025
If the drum of your Bosch Washer won’t rotate, the drum rear bearing may have failed. Check how the drum rotates; if it wobbles or won’t move at all, replace the outer tub, as it contains the faulty rear bearings. Another possibility is a failure in the motor control. Check the voltage at the motor connectors when the motor is energized; if it's low or non-existent, replace the faulty motor control. The drum drive motor itself could also be the problem. Check the voltage at the motor connectors when the motor is energized. If it's around 120V, check the motor resistance when the washer is de-energized. If the motor seems okay, replace the faulty motor control.

How do I fix a Bosch WFMC3200UC door that won't lock?
    • R
      Rebecca ZunigaAug 16, 2025
If the door of your Bosch Washer won’t lock, first ensure that the door is closed securely. If it still won’t latch, check the door latch and door hinge alignment. If the door latch is broken, replace it. If the door lock has failed, measure the resistance of the door lock mechanism (aim for ~ 159 - 211 Ω) and replace the faulty door lock mechanism.

Why does my Bosch WFMC3200UC overheat?
    • G
      griffincathyAug 26, 2025
If your Bosch Washer is overheating, the control module may have failed. Check the voltage to the heater; if voltage is present when the heater shouldn’t be on, replace the faulty control module. Another potential cause is a failed NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) sensor. Disconnect the NTC and measure the resistance at its terminals (aim for ~ 22.8 – 27.4 kΩ @ 20ºC (68ºF)); replace the NTC if it's faulty.

Bosch WFMC3200UC not heating - what could be the reason?
    • H
      Heidi EdwardsNov 19, 2025
If your Bosch Washer isn't heating, several factors could be responsible. The heater itself may have failed. Disconnect it and measure the resistance at the terminals (aim for ~ 13.7 – 15.2 Ω); replace the heater if it's faulty. Another possibility is a failed NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) sensor. Disconnect the NTC and measure the resistance at its terminals (aim for ~ 22.8 – 27.4 kΩ @ 20ºC (68ºF)); replace the NTC if it's faulty. Scale buildup on the heater could also be the issue; if possible, remove and clean the heater, or replace it if cleaning isn't feasible. Low voltage can also prevent heating; have an electrician check the house wiring and the wiring to the washer to ensure it's 120 volts. Finally, a failed control module could be the cause; check the voltage output to t...
