Recommended Amplifier Power
Selecting the proper amplifier size for a given loudspeaker requires analysis of the transducer long-term
(or RMS) power rating, dynamic range of the input-source material (crest factor), desired sound pressure
levels, and other factors. As a general guideline, to optimize ArenaMatch system performance, the following
amplifier configurations are recommended.
Input Configuration Nominal Impedance Amp Power Rating
Bi-amp, LF 8 600 W to 1200 W
Bi-amp, HF 8 150 W to 300 W
Passive 8 750 W to 1500 W
Recommended Signal Processing
Digital signal processing (DSP) equipment is required for infrasonic protection, crossover (for bi-amp
configuration), equalization, and voltage limiting protection.
Recommended loudspeaker DSP presets are available in Bose ControlSpace Designer software for both bi-
amp and passive-crossover input configurations and are designed for use with Bose PowerMatch configurable
professional amplifiers and ControlSpace ESP and EX processor hardware (sold separately).
System Design Software
Always confirm safe working load limits with exact array configurations, pitch angles, and connection points
using approved array design software. See PRO.BOSE.COM for a complete list of approved array design
software. ArenaMatch loudspeakers are also compatible with ControlSpace Designer. Make sure to download
the most current version of ControlSpace Designer.
Painting the Enclosure
The loudspeaker enclosure for all ArenaMatch loudspeaker modules can be painted. However, to avoid
