damage, positive securement and proper opera-
tion
Inspect inboard roll stop (IB) for:
• Wear or damage
• Proper operation. Rollstop should just rest on top
surface of the base plate.
• Positive securement (both ends)
Inspect handrail components for wear or damage,
and for proper operation
Inspect bridge plate (non-IB) for proper operation
and positive securement (pivot bolts)
Check adjustment of platform sensor (fold) switch
(pump-mounted hydraulic pressure switch)
Inspect microswitches for securement and proper
adjustment.
Make sure lift operates smoothly
Inspect external snap rings:
• Handrail pivot pins (2 per pin)
• Platform slide/rotate pivot pins (2 per pin IB)
(1 per pin non-IB)
• Platform fold axles (1 per axle)
• Inboard roll stop (IB) lever bracket pins
(1 per pin)
• Lift-Tite

Inspect platform fold axles and bearings for wear
or damage and positive securement
