Read temperature
If temperature is in the normal range, a long beep will sound when the measurement is complete.
If the temperature is in the fever range, ten short beeps will sound to indicate the measurement is
complete.

Press and release the power button once. Backlight will
come on and the start-up sequence begins.
NOTE: Make sure to remove the protective scanner cap
before taking a measurement.
