      If your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer engine won't start, runs rough, or shuts down, here's what to check: 1. Ensure the engine rocker switch is in the ON (I) position. 2. Check and fill the oil to the correct level. 3. Clean or replace the air cleaner. 4. Refill the fuel tank with fresh fuel (if the existing fuel is stale or contaminated with water). 5. Connect the spark plug wire securely to the spark plug and replace the spark plug if it is bad.

      If the pump on your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer isn't producing pressure, has erratic pressure, chatters, loses pressure, or has low water volume, consider the following: * Clear any blockages in the water inlet. * Ensure an adequate water supply. * Straighten any kinks or patch leaks in the inlet hose. * Check and clean the inlet hose screen. * Make sure the water supply isn't over 100°F (38°C). * Clear any blockages in the high-pressure hose. * Replace the spray gun if it leaks and clean the 7-in-1 nozzle if obstructed.
