      Your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer engine might fail to start due to several reasons: 1. The engine rocker switch is set to the OFF (O) position. Solution: Set it to the ON (I) position. 2. Low oil level. Solution: Fill the crankcase to the proper level. 3. Dirty air cleaner. Solution: Clean or replace the air cleaner. 4. Out of fuel. Solution: Fill the fuel tank. 5. Stale fuel. Solution: Drain the fuel tank and fill it with fresh fuel. 6. Spark plug wire not connected. Solution: Connect the wire to the spark plug. 7. Bad spark plug. Solution: Replace the spark plug. 8. Water in the fuel. Solution: Drain the fuel tank and fill it with fresh fuel.

      If detergent isn't mixing with the spray in your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer, here are a few things to check: 1. The detergent siphoning tube might be clogged or cracked. Clean or replace the detergent siphoning tube. 2. The check ball could be stuck in the detergent siphoning system. Unstick the check ball as described in Detergent Siphoning Check Ball. 3. You might have a high-pressure or high-flow nozzle selected instead of a soap nozzle. Select a high flow soap nozzle setting (indicated with bubbles).
