Lap-Shoulder Belt Installation with European Belt Guide
IMPORTANT: Check your vehicle owner’s manual to determine how
to lock your vehicle belt system.
1. Secure your child in the child
restraint before installing in the
vehicle. See page 41.
2. Place the child restraint rear facing
on the vehicle seat.
3. Pull the vehicle belt out and
route the lap portion under
the child restraint belt guides
and buckle.
NOTE: Verify that the vehicle
belt is not twisted.

‐ If you cannot lock your vehicle seat belt you must use a
locking clip. Locking clips are available from Britax at
1-888-427-4829 or 1-704-409-1699.
